What I loved about the bit with the bones, is Alex calling Jared out on his lame joke. Like, they both try to out-nerd each other, but even Alex couldn't stomach the 'The pelvis has left the building' line. Possibly the most hilarious scene ever involving Jared, was his self-nomination for the Gold Star. I cannot believe you didn't blog on that. It was just too priceless.
You're blog is awesome, but how could you call little Mallory one of the dumb kids? She's the cutest ever, I just wanna pick her up and hug her every time I see her. She may not be a braniac but she's certainly not one of the dumb kids.
Actually, I think Mallory IS one of the most brilliant kids there. She built a wonderful little "panda" website for a school project, and still maintains it: www.mallorypanda.com
Mallory sure seems to have gotten all of the brains, wit, maturity, and class in the family...granted, there is allegedly a little brother at home, but going by the given example of (wince) Olivia? Mallory wins.
